There are so many examples of businesses using the Amazon example now, you don't even have to look hard

Smugmug, Jungledisk, Ooyala (which I use), Bioscreencast, Justin.tv, Mogulus and those are just of the top of my head.

I have pretty much moved everything that does not require heavy client side processing into the cloud. I don't want to be limited by location or the machine I am using. Only audio/video processing (and software dev) remain on the client side.

Hi Richard. I'm the producer who put together the show on the cloud. Thanks for watching, and thanks even more for linking.

There's some more information on my blog on our website ( www.tvo.org/fifthcolumn ), some more thoughts from Shane Schick defending IT workers and some thoughts by Mathew Ingram about what happens when a company owns all your emails, etc.

And, in case you're curious, we tried to have a few different voices on (including Google) that I think might have got to some of the other content you were hoping for, but it didn't quite come together for various reasons (getting satellite feeds, timings, etc.). But it was great to see your feedback.
