Video search is one of the things that Google doesn't do yet, as a special channel at least.
You can get your video search fix from e.g.
http://video.search.yahoo.com/
http://www.altavista.com/video/
http://www.alltheweb.com/?cat=vid
Slashdot (where the Yahoo search pointer comes from) speculates that these may actually be the same, since apparently Yahoo-owns-Overture-owns-Altavista.
SearchEngineWatch says the same tech is underlying AllTheWeb vid search too (since Overture also owns AllTheWeb).
UPDATE 2004-12-17:
http://www.blinkx.tv/
blinkx video search is interesting in that it searches specifically video files on television websites e.g. CNN, C-SPAN, BBC News, NBC
It will also (rather counterintuitively) by default search a bunch of audio feeds, but you can deselect these.
As a side note, I'm trying to find that "rainbow shield" commercial that they did back in the 80s for Star Wars missile defence. I'll be darned if I can find it. That's from back in the Reagan days when it was called SDI.
