Works ok, 802.11b. The connection to the Internet is not speedy by any stretch of the imagination, speedtest.net says 674ms ping time, 159kbs, better bandwidth than dialup I guess. I'm used to broadband. I don't know what the upload is; speedtest.net was unable to test it.
I'm travelling between Ottawa and Montreal.
It's Can$8.95 for a "daypass" (8 hours I think).
I guess considering that Internet on airplanes seems inexplicably to be languishing, this may be one of the few wireless-enabled means of transportation.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention, the seat tray-tables are surprisingly small, they're stored in the armrest. If you have a normal-sized laptop, it's going to be awkward. My 12" PowerBook was small enough to fit on the tray, but just barely.
UPDATE 2006-09-11: There are power outlets located beneath the seats (below the central armrest).
