Hey Richard - Proto is another mashup platform that you might be interested in. It uses a GUI builder to create powerful desktop mashups. You can download it for free from the company website at www.protosw.com. Also, Proto is hosting a Daily iPod Mashup Contest. Winners are voted on by Proto users and all recieve a 4GB iPod nano. Check it out & let me know what you think when you get a chance.

Hey guys, take a look at Apatar, an Open Source Data Mashup tool. It helps join your desktop data with the web without coding. Users download the free Apatar GUI to join your desktop data with the web, without coding. Through its numerous connectors you can link data between CSV/Excel files, databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL) and applications like Salesforce.com (API), SugarCRM (API), Compiere ERP, Amazon Web Services and even Web 2.0 apps like Flickr (API). Here is a direct link to the Apatar's page at Sourceforge. Check it out & let me know what you think when you get a chance. I can be reached through my blog Naked Open Source. Renat Khasanshyn
