The Economist had a recent survey on "telecoms" which is really more about ubiquitous wireless.
I'm a bit worried that we're going from the old fantasy of "my fridge will order milk on the Internet" to "my fridge will order milk on the Internet wirelessly". Many things that didn't make any technology sense as wired services still don't make any sense if you take the wires away.
That being said, they are fairly balanced and skeptical, as always.
