the Northern Voices conference tag

This is the first conference I know that declared their tag on their site.

Please use the tag "northernvoice" for your flickr, del.icio.us, Technorati, jots, etc. tags for blog posts, podcasts, photos, etc. pertaining to the conference.

The posting also has some other ideas about how to manage conference blogging.

Anyway the tag is "northernvoice".
(Personally I would have choisen northernvoice2005, although with better systems you could do tags like northernvoice+2005 or maybe even conference+northernvoice+2005.)

Northern Voices panel: blogging in academia

Seb Paquet was there and links to Bryan Alexander who blogged the whole thing.

The conference site doesn't have much info, it just says Panel: Blogging in Academia.

Stephen Downes has audio (MP3, 9MB, 1 hour 15 minutes) from the panel, along with info on his presentation on Community Blogging.  Unfortunately they are still talking when the audio ends...
